     I designed my Shoes & Shandals® to be repaired and so last a long time.
     The soft 12mm thick leather soles are protected with a 2mm hard wearing, long lasting, slip resistant,  rubber compound Soles and 5mm Heels or the 5-6mm thick leather soles with  5mm Dinky Tyre soles and 8mm heels.
     Replace these when they wear out and keep The Uppers fed and polished  and they will last many, many years.
     The Uppers are double out-soled stitched to the soles with strong polyester  and cotton thread for extra strength.
     I call The Construction - Clockwork - as it is infinitely repairable, no matter  how mistreated. Anyone with a needle & thread, glue & leather, polish and a  little elbow grease can repair them.
     Below are two photographs of a pair Shandals® before and after repair, renovation and some tender loving care.
     My one-armed client brought them back after 18 months in India and had really neglected them.
     He wanted to throw them away and buy another pair, but I insisted on repairing his old ones and introduced him to the clear polish - Hide Care. Instead of buying another pair of Shandals he bought a pair of Navy Blue Shoes fully lined in Grey Suede with matching Grey Leather Laces instead.
     My Shoes and Shandals® have a Style that will last for many years because they are the shape of normal healthy feet, they have a longevity that will last for generations, unlike the latest seasonal, fashionable shoe that will look old-fashioned next season.
