                            Shandals® come in three designs…
…Slip-on, Buckle and Lace-up and in two width fittings.
The Slip-on Design has no adjustment over the arch, so you either fit into them or not, although I can make adjustment to the patterns. Those with normal healthy feet tend to fit into them best.
The Buckle Design has more adjustment over the arch, but not a great deal. The Buckles are solid brass and come in a Nickel finish, if you prefer a silver buckle.
The Lace-up Shandals® has the most adjustment over the arch and are the most therapeutic of the three designs.
If you have damaged feet or bunions then I recommend the Lace-up design because the Arch tends to collapse, flatten with a bunion: a bit like in Judo when the wrist is twisted and the whole body has to somersault. The Toe thong guides the Big Toe straighter, which lifts the arch, which is then cuddled and supported by the soft Uppers when the laces are tightened.
Many women are embarrassed about their bunions, their ‘ugly’ feet and do not want to show them in public, preferring to cover them up with toe gathering hosiery, then wedging and hiding them in pointy shoes and feeling ‘normal’, but it is a path that can lead to pain, surgery and disability.
Shandals not only give damaged feet a chance to heal and improve their strength and mobility, they really do flatter even the most damaged feet.

I personally wear the Slip-on design all day, most days of the year indoors and out, even on cold days. I often get asked “Aren’t your feet cold?” and I answer “No, my circulation is not being restricted by pointy toed shoes like yours, so my feet are warm.” I haven’t worn socks for at least 10 years, I do not need them and when I did wear them, I found them incredibly uncomfortable.

It is only on the very coldest, wettest days do I wear my shoes.
On hot days I may slip into a cool, fresh pair of Shandals®.
Or change into a different colour to match what I am wearing.
I have a Silver Kid Leather pair with black leather lining, which I made to see the old Millennium out and dance into the new. I tend to wear them with a black trousers or a suit. I do have a silver Jacket, but it’s just a tad OTT.
I am a total Shandals® devotee, I just love them. They are sexy, I love the way the toes peep provocatively from the curved edge of the Upper and although Shandals are broad they do not look it. The broadness is broken up by the toe thong and you can see that the toes fit the shape, so they look right, even though Shandals® are broad. They look perfect, especially when compared to the Archetypal pointy shoes of the old millennium.
